FAQs

Do you work online or face-to-face?

All my sessions are online via Zoom. Research has found that online therapy is just as effective as face-to-face therapy, with the added bonus of being convenient. All you need is comfortable chair, a laptop or a phone, and we can connect.

Can I book straight in for an assessment to get started with therapy?

Yes of course, head to the contact form and I will arrange the assessment with you within 48 hours. Payment will be taken at the time of booking to secure your slot via bank transfer.

Can I speak to you before our assessment session?

Yes, if you would like to book a free consultation call we can have up to 15 mins to discuss any questions you have about therapy, how I can help you and what you can expect from working together.

How many sessions will I need?

Each individual’s needs and goals will determine how many sessions would be beneficial. I offer both short-term (8-20 sessions) and longer-term therapy. Following our assessment session a personalised treatment plan will be developed with you.

How do I pay for my ongoing sessions?

Following your assessment session, payments are accepted via bank transfer 48hrs prior to your session. On receipt of payment your slot will be secured and your Zoom link will be sent.

Please note: medical insurance fees vary, get in touch for details

Can I work with you if I am in crisis?

I do not provide crisis support. If you are having suicidal thoughts and you think you might take action to end your life or harm yourself please go to A&E or call 999. You can also seek urgent support by contacting your GP or local NHS mental health service / crisis team. For emotional support you can call the Samaritans on 116 123 or text SHOUT on 85258.
