My approach

  • I will personalise my approach to meet your needs and achieve your goals, drawing on a range of modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR),

  • You’ll have the opportunity to process and release the emotional distress related to past experiences, and promotes healing from the emotional and physical / somatic impact of these experiences. It's like rearranging the pieces of a jumbled puzzle in your mind so that they fit together better and no longer trigger intense emotional responses.

  • You’ll be supported to become aware of your patterns, to notice your thoughts and feelings without judgement and identify behaviours which are no longer serving you as you move towards the person you want to be and the life you want to live.

  • You’ll discover the story you have about yourself, where it came from, and how to change the way you relate to it. By understanding yourself more, you create the opportunity to think about yourself differently, be more self-compassionate and gain more self-acceptance.

  • You’ll become clear about what your priorities are, how you want to spend your time, and the values you want to live by. You will confidently set boundaries, and take action inspired by your goals.
